The town I live in is an average town. There is no downtown, which kind of bothers me, but there are a lot of stores and shopping close by. Most of the restaurants in my town are chain restaurants, which I do not prefer. I prefer little hole in the wall family owned restaurants. Usually the best food comes out of those! I have lived in my town for 23 years now, and it is pretty suburban. There are a lot of houses and parks, and both are only increasing. I hope that I can eventually move out because I want to live closer to the beach. I guess the good thing is that New York city and the shore are only about 40 minutes away.

Today I’m not really a huge fan of my outfit. I couldn’t find anything that was comfortable. Work clothes can be so annoying sometimes. I ended up wearing black dress pants, a grey tank top, and a grey cardigan around that. The outfit is somewhat mundane; I would have liked to have been more creative. My clothes have been kind of tight recently though, so my choices are limited! I put a simple necklace on, and my shoes slip on too. My shoes are probably the most comfortable part of my outfit. There is no heel, so that is perfect! I hope tomorrow’s outfit is more exciting!

My favorite television show is Giada at Home, on the food network. I love this show because Giada makes all kinds of delicious homemade dishes. She’s a really great chef, and she has a wonderful personality. It is so relaxing to watch her chop up vegetables, and cook meals completely flawlessly. She is peaceful in the kitchen, and the meals always look exquisite.  I just wish that I could reach through the television and take a bite of the food she makes. Another benefit about her show is that the recipes can easily be found online. Often, I watch the show in the morning and recreate her recipe that evening.
